Corey is providing multi-hour open recording session where one group of attendees can really see what a contemporary a cappella recording session looks and sounds like.  A cappella singers in the group will participate as the recording group as a collaboration track, recording with Corey throughout the day across several hours.  Attendees are able to enter and exit the session in 30-60 minute intervals, with time at the end of each interval for attendees to ask questions and/or take a turn behind the microphone.  This workshop gives attendees a chance to see what it feels like from both the performer’s and the engineer’s standpoint of a recording session.  Not just the technical standpoint of recording, but also how to “perform” during recording (side of performer) and how to “produce” the session (side of engineer).  Members of the recording group could still attend other workshops because he would only need 1-2 members for each interval, as that is the method in which he records contemporary a cappella.  Artists are welcome to continue production of that song with Corey at a special Sing! Toronto discounted rate (editing/mixing/mastering), or they can take the recording session to continue production with whomever they like.
